Climate Reality Check Webinar
SmartCarbon and Going Green Together present a 1-hour online webinar, providing a ‘reality check’ on the climate emergency. All individuals involved in the voluntary, community, and social enterprise sector in the North East and Cumbria are invited to join.
SmartCarbon run an Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) endorsed carbon footprinting course through Northumbria University. This Climate Reality Check draws upon the important points of the climate change part of the course, an update on the prevailing climate science, and a summary of what organisations can do in response to the climate emergency. The Climate Reality Check provides a timely reminder of why organisations in the VCSE sector in the North East & Cumbria need to take action, and how they can do so through the Going Green Together programme.
This session is the perfect introduction to learn more about the climate emergency and gain vital knowledge required to be an informed environmental advocate.
