We’re recruiting for an Events & Communications Officer
North East England Climate Coalition, currently hosted at VONNE, is recruiting for a Communications and Events Officer.
The post of Communications and Events Officer is a new post. The communications and events function of NEECCo is crucial to building and engaging a growing network of supporters, partners and strategic partners to the Coalition. We have ambitions to engage with organisations, businesses and individuals across the North East under our collective ambition of ‘Becoming England’s Greenest region’.
The successful candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, be able to manage competing priorities and work under their own initiative, whilst having the ability to work well remotely and within a small team environment. The Communications and Events Officer will work closely with the other members of the NEECCo Executive team, wider NEECCo strategic partners and the Public Engagement working group to further develop and deliver the communications and engagement plan.
This post is also available as a secondment and as a part-funded secondment through an organisation wishing to support NEECCo by part-funding this post.
