The uncertainty and change of the past year has given many businesses the opportunity to look again at everything from working patterns to supply chains to how they use energy or how much their staff travel.
Sustainability, and managing our impact on the environment continues to be a driving force for change, and is certainly playing a role in defining new flexible and remote working practices amongst other things.
In this session, experts from GENEE – Greening the Economy of North East England – will share their advice and insight on how to get started on a sustainability and environmental project on your business. This will include breaking down the key elements of an environmental management strategy, including travel, waste, technology, procurement and more.
Speakers will include:
- Claire Thompson, Executive Manager at GENEE / Capability North East, who helps organisations across the region develop and deliver their sustainability ambitions. Claire also plays an active role with the North East England Nature Partnership and the North East England Climate Coalition
