The 2021 Festival of Social Science

The annual Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Festival of Social Science kicks off on 1st November with a month of innovative social science events offering an insight into how social science research influences everyday lives.

Join the ESRC to explore the world of social science, from how our behaviour can help fight climate change to the effects of the pandemic on society. With over 350 events taking place over 30 days, across the UK, including plenty in the North East which can be attended virtually and in person, for all ages and tastes.
