Business Energy Efficiency Project (Durham) – free factsheets for business
Durham County Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) have come together to provide funding for County Durham SMEs.
The Business Energy Efficiency Project (BEEP) supports County Durham SMEs who wish to make financial savings through energy efficiency and energy generation.
With support from both Durham County Council and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), BEEP provides a fully funded and independent audit to identify where financial savings can be made.
The audits are designed to identify all areas where financial savings can be made in your business, by eliminating wasted energy. We understand that every business is different and want to find a solution that works for you.
BEEP can also offer a grant to help you with financial support towards the purchase and installation of energy efficient equipment. The grant is available on a first come, first served basis and can only be accessed if you have received a BEEP energy audit.
Our BEEP factsheets have been written to help County Durham SMEs understand some of the energy and money saving options that are available. They cover a wide range of topics, technologies and techniques that can help an SME make financial savings and improve efficiencies across the business.
These have been designed to be clear and jargon free; and provide the reader with a basic understanding of the topic, technology or technique allowing them to make an informed decision as to whether their business could adopt the measures.
