Registration is closed for this event
A 'Lunch & Learn' session on Biodiversity for your business or organisation.
Event overview
Sustainability, and managing our impact on the environment continues to be a driving force for change and is becoming mainstream.
As well as a climate emergency we are also facing an ecological emergency. Supporting biodiversity is something every business can do.
Sharon Lashley is Managing Director of Climate Action North, a not for profit community interest company set up to take action in the climate emergency through their branded range of projects including Pollinator Parks, Global Wilders, One Small Change, Wear and Tees Action for Rivers and the Business Action Toolkit. Sharon will be speaking to us about the work of Climate Action North in rewilding the north’s business parks and how they are successfully linking businesses with biodiversity, raising awareness of how climate solutions can link to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as well as taking direct climate action.
