Lunch & Learn – Renewable Energy and the North East
Tom Nightingale, North East Stakeholder Manager for Equinor joined NEECCo for a Lunch and Learn session on renewable energy in the North East.
In his overview presentation, he gave an introduction to Dogger Bank, the world’s largest offshore wind farm which will be operated by Equinor. The wind farm, located off the North East coastline and it’s operations and maintenance base at the Port of Tyne will create hundreds of jobs in the region and an abundance of renewable energy.

SSE Renewables are leading construction on the project and are calling for World Leaders and members of the public to sign their name on a Dogger Bank wind turbine to show their support for ambitious climate action to be agreed at COP26. Read more and sign your name on their website below.
