Great Big Green Week

18th – 26th September is Great Big Green Week.

People from all walks of life will be hosting events across the UK to celebrate action to tackle climate change and protect our planet.

There are more than 2500 events planned in over 700 different locations. Together we’ll show politicians that we are stepping up to take action on climate change, and now we want to see them step up and take urgent action too.  If you’ve always wanted to take a tour around your local community farm, find out how your town’s football team is upping their game on sustainability, watch a climate cabaret, or just want to show up for the climate with your community, the Great Big Green Week is the chance to do it!

Get involved by going to something in your local area or attending an online event. 

We can’t wait to see all the activity taking place in communities up and down the country, so if you do attend an event, whether virtual or in person, please let us know! If you share any photos or videos of the event on social media, please use #GreatBigGreenWeek. Don’t forget to tag us and the location so others know what’s happening in your local area too! 

Together we can make this the greatest, biggest, greenest week our country has ever seen.
