Saturday 18th September marked the start of the Great Big Green Week!
There are over 4500 community-led events planned all across the UK – including Climate Fringe Week in Scotland, an electric car tour of Wales and Northern Ireland’s first-ever Climate Festival. If that wasn’t exciting enough, more than 200 local green weeks will become hubs of climate activity in communities all over the country. It will be the greatest, biggest, greenest week the country has ever seen – and it wouldn’t be possible without you.
Together we are going to send a strong and united message to politicians and decision makers: The time for watching has passed. It’s time to act. Because we all know where climate change ends if we don’t.
The Great Big Green Week has created a video #TheFightThatUnites to make the case that the time for action is now.
