Net Zero Week 2022

It’s NetZero Week (2^nd – 8^th July) the UK’s National Awareness Week of why NetZero is so important and what we can all do to achieve it.

The rapid climate change we’re currently seeing is largely due to us burning fossil fuels which release greenhouse gases. These gases trap the sun’s heat and cause the planets temperature to raise. Achieving Net Zero would mean that the UK’s total greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) would be equal to, or less than the emissions the UK removed from the environment. Basically, NetZero us the world’s answer to climate change.

Every person, every home and every business has an important role to play in tackling climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
