Organised by YOUNGO (official Youth Constituency of the UNFCCC), this conference serves as the official space for capacity building and policy training for young climate leaders from across the globe. The conference will culminate in a policy document shared during COP26. COY16 will be held in Glasgow on 28-30 October and is endorsed by the UK COP26 Presidency, UNFCCC and UN Secretary General’s Youth Envoy.
In addition to the Conference of Youth event in October, YOUNGO are hosting local conferences across the world, known as LCOYs. We encourage youth organisations to apply to host their own local conference – the window is now live.
Universities can join the COP26 Universities Network – a group of over 40 UK-based universities working together to raise ambition for tangible outcomes from COP26.
